In approximately three days I will be landing in Dublin, Ireland...and I just started packing :) why am I not surprised? I am surrounded by clothes and next to deciding what to take I think the hardest part is going to be figuring out how to fit it ALL into one carry-on bag (45 in. and 40 pounds total) and one checked bag (62 in. and 50 pounds total). Hopefully it won't be too hard because I will not be paying the extra $50 for another bag or an overweight bag! The excitement is building and even though I will be on my way to the airport in 2 days it still has not hit me. Three weeks is a long time, but I am so ready!
Thank you to everyone who has helped me prepare for this trip in any way, shape or form..that includes my friends and family for your support and gifts like socks, hats, scarves, etc. they are going to come in SO handy! MOM and DAD this would not be possible without you guys..when I told you I wanted to do this you didn't question it, you just made it happen. I love you both so much! Last, but never least thank you God for giving me this opportunity..I know it is going to be an experience I will never forget.

ReplyDeleteWhat an experience....as your father I am jealous you are beating me to ireland!! How fun is that, someday you will be able to show me around ireland. I do not think all those clothes are going to fit into those bags. I love you and truly hope it is the trip of a lifetime, HAVE FUN
